Trevor Cameron

Trevor is a Métis writer and director. His work has been screened across the land and on TVs internationally.

Trevor was nominated for four Geminis, and several other international awards, including the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival, and The American Indian Film Festival. Trevor’s interest in telling Métis specific stories has given him a distinct voice and perspective.

Trevor Cameron looks for truth in life. In pursuit of stories, he’s sacrificed complacency for U-Haul trailers and multiple award-winning Métis TV director and writer whose credits span drama, comedy and kids.

Trevor also won the prestigious Bell Media/WGC Diverse writers workshop, is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School, and attended the En’owkin Centre, an Aboriginal writing program.

Trevor's latest film is the horror thriller #vanlife, about Indigenous social media creators who get tangled up with a death cult.
