Does he wear too many hats? Probably, but he’s worn them for a long time. Born in Minneapolis, raised between Hayward, WI, and Seattle, WA, Shaawan Francis Keahna has been acting professionally since he was sixteen years old, published by legit lit mags since eighteen, and producing since twenty-three. You might vaguely remember him as Cleo. His words have been in Split Rock, ALOCASIA, Same Faces Collective, and Never Whistle At Night Part II: Back for Blood. He played the lead in ishkwaazhe Shane McSauby’s “Mino Bimaadiziwin,” as well as Matt Cochran’s “Itch,” both shot in 2017. More recently, he’s had roles in horrors “Irregular Feminine Forms,” “The Two Faces of Tim-Guy,” and is currently directing his debut short horror, “Full Head of Hair.” Keahna lives in Baltimore for college but has a car and goes wherever.
