Maya Rose Dittloff

Maya Rose Dittloff (Ukkayǔ”kwīyinnimǎakii) is a queer writer and director from Montana. Her work credits include DARK WINDS and PEOPLE OF THE WEST.  Maya has developed alongside Apple, Netflix, WBTV, Eden Productions, Crooked Media, MountainA, and has an original pilot being produced by Revelations. Her feature project, SWEETNESS OF THE BLOOD, was named to the most recent Indigenous List, and she is an alum of the Tribeca + CHANEL Women’s Filmmaker Lab.

Maya has prioritized the pursuit of an activism and entertainment career simultaneously. She has been involved nationwide in advocating for Indigenous issues, and is deeply invested in sculpting pathways and protocols for engaging in projects with Native communities that advance narrative change.

In her personal life, Maya loves dogs, sitting down to read a good fantasy book, and taking her Hasselblad XPAN on a hike.
