Chris Stall

Chris grew up hearing about his family’s Indigenous ancestry. The same year Chris published his first comic (2025) he also became a card-carrying member of the Abenaki Nation. Now, Chris is navigating his heritage and bringing tribal beliefs and folklore into his writing and comics. Chris hosts a video first podcast called Long Box Punk where he talks with indie comic creators about their comics, process, and influences. When not writing comics, he is writing short stories, making zines, encouraging others to create art and tell stories, working alongside the rest of staff for FiveStar ComicCon in Ohio, and injecting as much positivity into creative corners as he can.
